The funds collected at the Anti-Crisis Fund of Uzbekistan made up 7.4 trillion soum ($721.4 million), Trend reports citing the Ministry of Finance of Uzbekistan.
The main part of this amount accounts for privileged loans of international financial institutions equaling 7.3 trillion soum ($711.6 million), while 123.5 billion soum ($11.9 million) has been provided from the state budget.
A total of 907 billion soum ($88.4 million) has been allocated for financing measures against coronavirus and 2.2 trillion soum ($214.4 million) for social sphere support. About 684 billion soum ($66.6 million) was spent on construction of quarantine complexes, special hospitals and their equipment.
Expenditures to support various sectors of the economy made up 2.2 trillion soum ($214.4 million), 20 billion soum ($1.9 million) of which was sent to the Fund for Tourism Support.
Furthermore, the Anti-Crisis Fund of Uzbekistan directed 602 billion soum ($58.6 million) to implement measures on water supply and irrigation.
