Azerbaijan sees more insurance payments in local market for 7M2021

The volume of payments in Azerbaijani insurance market has risen from January through July 2021, Trend reports citing a report from the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).

According to the CBA, this indicator exceeded 301.1 million manat ($177.2 million), which is by 32.6 percent more than in the first seven months of 2020.

Some 20 insurance companies and one reinsurance company operate in Azerbaijan. Previously, the licenses of four insurance companies, namely, Amrah Sigorta, AXA MBASK, Standard Insurance and Revan Sigorta were canceled.
