Azerfon Signs First Roaming Contract with Bangladesh

Azerbaijan, Baku, 11 March / Trend / From March 11th, 2008 subscribers of all types of Nar Mobile pre-paid Tariff Plans will be able to use the International Roaming service in Kazakhstan, Bangladesh and Italy. The new partners are the operators of Sky Mobile LLC in Kazakhstan, Babylon-Mobilein Tajikistan, AKTEL in Bangladesh and Vodafone Omnitel in Italy.

This is the first experience of roaming partnership with Bangladesh, meanwhile roaming agreements with the remaining countries are already in existence. Currently there are agreements in force with operators Kar-Tel Ltd (Beeline) and NEO/MTS in Kazakhstan, Indigo (South) and JV Somoncom (North) in Tajikistan and Telecom in Italy.

At present Nar Mobile's roaming coverage area includes more than 430 mobile operators in more than 220 countries and 8 roaming GPRS agreements.

To activate the roaming service Nar Mobile customers need to simply apply at any Nar Mobile service center. This service is available for all subscribers of all Nar Mobile Tariff Plans and is directly paid from the subscriber's account without the need for an additional deposit.

Nar Mobile is the first mobile operator in Azerbaijan which has offered International Roaming Service to its subscribers with pre-paid Tariff Plans.

AZERFON LLC launched its commercial activities on 21st of March, 2007 using its Nar Mobile brand name. At present more than 300,000 subscribers use Nar Mobile services.
