The revenues received in Jan. 2019 from mobile communication services in Azerbaijan amounted to 66.3 million manats, the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee told Trend on Feb. 14.
Compared to Jan. 2018, the revenues of the mobile communications sector decreased by 4.7 percent and reached almost 44 percent of total revenues of the telecommunications market, according to the State Statistics Committee.
In Jan. 2019, population and organizations in Azerbaijan were provided with information and communication services worth 150.7 million manats, which is 6.3 percent more compared to Jan. 2018.
Of the total information and communication services, 75.2 percent accounted for services rendered to the population. At the same time, 80.2 percent of the revenues received via the sector accounted for non-state enterprises.
