The View Satellite Network company, which provides global broadcasting services on many platforms of television and radio channels around the world, has signed a cooperation agreement with Azerbaijan’s satellite operator, Azercosmos OJSC, the satellite operator told Trend.

According to the agreement, the View Satellite Network will provide to its clients in Africa the digital broadcasting in HD format through satellites of Azerspace-2.

In turn, Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of Azercosmos OJSC, Mark Guthrie, noted that the modern and high-tech broadcasting networks of the View Satellite Network guarantee the effective use of the capabilities of the Azerspace-2 satellite.

“Our cooperation once again shows that Azercosmos is a reliable partner for our future projects in Africa,” Guthrie added.

The company currently broadcasts more than 20 television and radio channels in West Africa, and thanks to modern infrastructure, the distribution of video content is ensured.

Azercosmos OJSC is the first and only satellite operator in the South Caucasus, which provides high-quality satellite services in the field of telecommunications and geological exploration. It operates two communication satellites - Azerspace-1 and Azerspace-2, as well as the low-orbit satellite - Azersky.
