Azerbaijan’s Stell Technologies company has introduced an innovative solution of a new internet connection standard - WiFi-6 for the first time in Azerbaijan, Director of the company Ali Aliyev told Trend on March 11.
“Today IT companies pay more attention to cybersecurity and in this sphere, many vendors develop and offer various solutions,” the director of the company added. “The leaders in this sphere in Azerbaijan are such companies as Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet.”
"It is necessary to take into account software solutions, which also began to gain momentum and are not worse than "iron" solutions,” Aliyev said. “Among such companies, I would like to highlight Cloudflare. Our company - Stell Technology is its partner."
The director of the company emphasized that in the current realities, the implementation of effective measures aimed at repelling cyber threats is not easy as there are more devices and hackers are using more sophisticated methods of attacks.
"A competent approach to cybersecurity presupposes several levels of protection and our specialists offer and implement these solutions,” Aliyev said. “There are a lot of such solutions and the choice depends on the tasks set by the customer. Many projects have been implemented by Stell Technology in 2020.”
"I would like to stress the project for the implementation of an innovative solution - WiFi-6 at the Marriott Court Yard Hotel, in the Center for the Rehabilitation of Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (the equipment was supplied free of charge),” director of the company added.
“The pandemic sharply increased the IT budgets of many companies in connection with the transition for "remote work", building of financial systems, automating of business processes and protecting of data in 2020,” Aliyev said. “Therefore, there were a lot of projects."
“Each further Wi-Fi connection standard is characterized by the increased bandwidth and for example, when one phone is connected to the router, Wi-Fi 6 is by 40 percent faster than Wi-Fi 5,” the director of the company said.
“Today almost all sectors of activity to one degree or another need IT solutions,” Aliyev said.
"I consider it our direct responsibility as an IT company to help our customers in maintaining and developing their business,” the director of the company said. “We provide customers with reliable information about the needs and risks for creating a certain cost-saving (measures to reduce production costs through optimization of the product, processes, and resources). Taking into account the realities of our time and possible risks, the companies must acquire, first of all, the most effective solution.”
