BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 10. Kaspersky Lab is actively implementing its Endpoint Detection and Response solutions in Azerbaijani companies to be able to quickly prevent a cyber attack, official representative of the company in Azerbaijan Mushvig Mammadov told Trend.
According to Mammadov, few years ago, Kaspersky Lab's Kaspersky Security Network detected a small number of different types of viruses in few days, whilst at present about 400,000 new cyber threats are detected daily.
"The representative office of Kaspersky in Azerbaijan cooperates with all market participants – home, corporate and government users,” he said. “Over the past few years, we have expanded our range of products and solutions in Azerbaijan. Today's reality requires more complex solutions that can cope with similar, more complicated attacks.”
Kaspersky Lab is also working with Azerbaijan’s banking system not only to protect its infrastructure, but also to protect against the actions of fraudsters aimed at hacking user accounts, mobile and online banking, he added.
The Baku office of Kaspersky Lab JSC began its work in early 2015.
