BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 11. Azerbaijan's Space Academy plans to implement mobile-based space innovation and STEAM bus project, Ali Taghiyev, community projects lead at the academy under the Azerbaijan Space Agency (Azercosmos) told reporters, Trend reports.
According to him, this project will cover the regional environment.
"It will operate under the Organization of Turkic States. This mobile education and experience platform will take place not only in Azerbaijan but also in all Turkic countries. With this project, we aim to contribute to the development of both scientific and cultural relations between the member countries of the Organization of Turkic States," he said.
Taghiyev pointed out that the main goal of the space community projects is to establish sustainable connections and bridges between the space ecosystem and society in Azerbaijan.
"In this direction, we are implementing various initiatives. If we look at the trends in the global space industry today, we see that investments in public and socially-oriented projects in the sector are increasing. Through innovative projects by the Space Academy, we aim to make space science and the space ecosystem accessible to every citizen. The main goal here is to develop human capital in this field as well.
Various projects are being carried out by the Space Academy. During a year, more than 12,000 citizens benefit from our activities. We aim to integrate space science with various fields. This includes culture, art, food, and even healthcare," Taghiyev added.
