Participants of the International Seminar Human Resources Potential Increasing in the Field of Mail Service Nowadays arrive in Baku. According to the Azerbaijan`s Telecommunication and Information Technologies Ministry, at present specialists from Uzbekistan, Latvia, Estonia, and India, and the World Mail Union delegation have already arrived in the country, Trend reports.
The seminar is expected to be held on September 12-13, with the 23rd meeting of the Commission for Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communication and Mail Service, and the 12th meeting of the Council of Operators of the Commission for Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communication and Mail Service.
The seminar will be held within financial assistance of the World Mail Union, and organized by the Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communication and Mail Service with the participation of representatives of the World Mail Union, the Executive Committee of the Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communication and Mail Service and its 11 members excepting Turkmenistan, Armenia, Lithuania, and Kyrgyzia.
Ali Abbasov, Azerbaijan Telecommunication and Information Technologies Minister is expected to send congratulation letters to the both arrangements.
The decision to hold meetings of the Regional commonwealth in the Field of Communication and Mail Service in Baku was taken within the joint meeting of the Commission for Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communication and Mail Service (22nd meeting) and the Council of Operators of Mail Service of the Organization, where Azerbaijan`s delegation headed by Azerbaijan`s Telecommunication and Information Technologies`s Mail Department`s Chief Novruz Mammadov held in Riga (Latvia) in April 2006.
