An Azerbaijani-Italian business forum on information and communication technology will be held in Baku for the first time. The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology informed Trend on 11 January that the forum was part of an agreement on co-operation regarding the security of networks, signed between the Governments of Azerbaijan and Italy in Rome in December 2005.
Originally scheduled for 2006, the forum was delayed due to an election in Italy and the organization of the Cabinet.
After talks the forum is planned to take place in 2007. Preparations are currently being undertaken by the embassy. The exact date of the event will be publicized later.
