Georgia is a strategic tourist market for Germany, was noted at a meeting of Head of Georgian National Tourism Administration Mariam Kvrivishvili with Ambassador of Germany to Georgia Hubert Knirsch, Trend reports with reference to website bpn.ge.
At the meeting, held at the Georgian National Tourism Administration, the activities of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) and planned projects for the development of tourism in Georgia were discussed. The sides noted that joint efforts could help attract more tourists to Georgia from Germany.
It was also noted that Georgia, which has rich history, culture and traditions alongside many tourist attractions, is both safe and interesting destination for German tourists.
During the meeting, Mariam Kvrivishvili expressed her gratitude to the German Ambassador for the projects currently implemented by Germany in Georgia.
