Volume of cargo loaded, unloaded in Iran’s Chabahar port revealed

About 221,000 tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in the Chabahar port in the Sistan and Baluchestan Province (southeastern Iran) in the 10th month of the current Iranian year (December 21,2020 through January 19, 2021), Trend reports citing the statistics of Iranian Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO).

According to the statistics, so, 3,310 tons of cargo were loaded and 218,000 tons were unloaded in the port over the reporting period.

“During the 10th month, 630 tons of cargo were exported and 81,000 tons were imported through the Chabahar port,” the statistics said.

Furthermore, 245 tons of cargo were loaded, and 5,910 tons were unloaded for transit,” the statistics said.

According to the statistics, 131,000 tons of cargo were unloaded for cabotage in the Chabahar port within 10th month.

“At the same time, 2,440 tons of cargo were loaded in the port for other purposes,” the statistics said.

So, 76,000 tons of essential products, 493 tons of equipment, vehicles and spare parts were loaded and unloaded in the Chabahar port in the 10th month, the statistics said.

Moreover, 13,700 tons of container products and 131,000 tons of oil products were loaded and unloaded in the port within the mentioned month.

As reported, a total of 10.8 million tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in Iranian ports in the 10th month of the current Iranian year. Of this, 6.32 million tons were unloaded and 4.55 million tons were loaded.
