Azerbaijan’s ADY Express LLC, a subsidiary of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC, has started export transportation of another type of cargo, a source in the LLC told Trend on July 13.
According to the source, the subsidiary has started transporting domestic cement.
"This time we have started transporting cement produced at the plant of Holcim Azerbaijan OJSC by rail to Georgia. Monthly we will transport 15,000 tons of cement produced by the OJSC to Georgia," the source said.
The cement is loaded onto the wagons provided by ADY Express at the Garadagh station and delivered to the Kaspi station in Georgia.
Besides, ADY Express has allocated 50 wagons for the transportation of this cargo.
