BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 25. Alliance Logistics cargo transportation company and Foodcity Agropark LLC established a joint company and purchased another 100 rail cars, including refrigerated ones, the Chairman of the Board of Alliance Logistics Natig Heydarov told Trend.
According to him, delivery of the first 10 cars within the framework of this deal is expected by the end of 2022, and the remaining cars - in early 2023.
"This will allow Azerbaijani products to be transported to the markets of Russia and some other countries. The purchase of refrigerated wagons will allow us to quickly and efficiently transport Azerbaijani goods up to the Moscow and Selyatino stations," Heydarov said.
Alliance Logistics acquired 100 covered freight cars from the RM RAIL Russian company. ROSEXIMBANK JSC completed this summer the first deal with Azerbaijan's PASHA Bank, providing financing under the insurance coverage of EXIAR JSC for settlements under an export contract between the Russian supplier RM Rail and Alliance Logistics.
