Turkmenistan Airlines purchases two Boeing planes

ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, September 5. Turkmenistan Airlines has acquired two Boeing 777-300ER aircraft that were part of Cathay Pacific Airlines, Trend reports.

According to the official source, these planes will be the first in the fleet of Turkmenistan Airlines, which already owns four Boeing 777-200 (LR) aircraft.

Currently, Turkmenistan Airlines owns several Boeing models, including four 737-700 aircraft, eight 737-800 aircraft, and four 757-200 aircraft.

Furthermore, the airline also uses two Airbus 330-200 aircraft and three IL-76TD cargo aircraft.

Meanwhile, in June of this year, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a decree authorizing Turkmenistan Airlines to conclude contracts for the purchase of four Boeing 737-8 aircraft, as well as trilateral contracts with TMHCC-AIR 1 LLC and TMHCC-AIR 2 LLC for the purchase of two Boeing 777-367ER aircraft.
