ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, December 27. Turkmenistan Airlines plans to expand its flight network in the first quarter of 2024, adding three new routes and resuming flights, Trend reports.
According to the AeroRoutes portal, which specializes in updating and daily changes to airline schedules and networks around the world, new destinations include the following: Ashgabat (Turkmenistan) - Abu Dhabi (UAE), Ashgabat - Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam) and Ashgabat - Milan (Italy).
In particular, flights on the Ashgabat - Abu Dhabi route will be operated once a week, starting from January 5, 2024 (resumption of flights).
Flights on the Ashgabat - Ho Chi Minh City route will be operated twice a week starting from March 5, 2024, and flights on the Ashgabat - Milan route will be operated once a week starting from March 6, 2024.
Turkmenistan Airlines has recently resumed passenger flights on the Ashgabat - Moscow (Russia) route. The first flight took place in mid-December of this year, and by February 2024 it is planned to increase the number of flights to 10 per week.
Meanwhile, the Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, which was commissioned by the airline in early December this year, also began operating regular flights on the Ashgabat – Bangkok (Thailand) route from December 22, 2023.
