Kazakhstan lodges a complaint against Urmat Baryktabasov accused of waste of budget money to the amount of 511 million of tenge, 24kg reports with reference to 7 channel of Kazakhstan.
According to the Kazakh channel, the Fiscal Police of the Republic of Kazakhstan interested in activity of Urmat Baryktabasov in 2004 when he headed Astanaenergoservice joint-stock company.
"He was accused of waste of budget money allotted for connection of additional electric loading to the international airport of Astana. But the businessman fled the country after opening a criminal case against him," says the channel.
"Urmat Baryktabasov was put into international wanted list. It turned out since then he became a citizen of Kyrgyzstan, took up business and later went into politics. Kyrgyzstan was ready to extradite him to Kazakhstan after arresting him. But Kazakhstan didn't send a request to the Prosecutor General's Office of Kyrgyzstan."
