Kazakhstan plans to launch a new state management based on performance, clear definition of powers and responsibilities of civil servants, improving the quality of public services and professionalism of the civil service.

Kazakhstan plans to launch a new state management based on performance, clear definition of powers and responsibilities of civil servants, improving the quality of public services and professionalism of the civil service, Kazinform reported.

These plans were announced by Kazakh Vice Minister of Economic Development and Trade Timur Suleimenov at a conference entitled "Kazakhstan's economic success over the years of independence".

According to the Minister, Kazakhstan's Strategic Development Plan till 2020 sets nationwide strategic directions and purposes of the country's development.

"The country's efforts will be focused on five major directions: preparation for the post-crisis period, accelerated diversification of the economy, investments in the future, services for the citizens, ensuring interethnic harmony, security and stability in international affairs," Suleimenov said.

Implementation of the Strategic Plan will be based on successful public sector.
