The pension contributions amounted to 408.9 billion tenge in Kazakhstan for eight months of 2014, which is 13 percent more than in January-August 2013, Ranking.kz. analytical service reports.
"Around 50,200 tenge were transferred to the pension fund in the regions of the country for eight months," the analysts said. "Leaders in the large pension contributions are Mangistau region (24 percent annual growth - up to 29 billion tenge) and Astana (22 percent growth - up to 54.6 billion tenge)."
The amount of pension contributions exceeded 75 billion tenge in Almaty. This is the highest rate - 18.5 percent in Kazakhstan. As of eight months, one wageworker in Astana, on average, transferred 136,000 tenge to the pension fund, Mangistau (117,000 tenge) and Atyrau (109,000 tenge).
