BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 8. The output of the Kazakh Atyrau Oil Refinery from October through November 2022 amounted to 581,400 tons, which roughly equals to an average daily output of 9,531 tons, KazMunayGas company told Trend.
The plant operated at 57 percent of the total capacity in the reporting period, due to the planned repairs of the facilities.
Scheduled preventive maintenance at 32 process units has been completed at the Atyrau Oil Refinery. The process units were repaired one by one, which allowed continuing uninterrupted production. The phased repair work haы been carried out for the first time at national refineries.
In the framework of repair, catalysts replacement, internal inspection, revision and examination of a reactor, tank, column, and pipelines, preventive and repair work of power equipment, instrumentation, and automation, among other works were carried out.
The plant operated at a capacity range from 50 percent to 70 percent during repairs.
