BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 6. Kazakhstan’s recorded a volume of 4.9 trillion Kazakh tenge ($10.4 billion) of completed work in the construction sector from January through November 2022, Trend reports, citing the press service of the Ministry of Industrial and Infrastructural Development.

Positive growth dynamic in the construction work volume was recorded in 17 regions of the country, except for Mangistau, Abai, and Karaganda regions.

To address the housing issues of citizens, 13 million square meters of new housing were constructed and commissioned in 11M2022. Also, currently, 13,800 rental apartments and credit housing are being built.

The ministry also revealed that more than 47,000 construction companies are registered in Kazakhstan. Around 46,000 companies are active.

According to the statement, to promote further development of the construction sector, the government aims to introduce a unified internet portal. This portal will enable a higher degree of quality control and ensure transparency.
