BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 19. Kazakh and international companies operating in the aviation market are going to sign memorandum of cooperation at the event themed "1st Kazakhstan Aviation Dialogue: Energy Transition for Sustainable Development and Realization of the Transit Potential of Central Asia" which will be held in Astana on May 24-25, KazMunayGas told Trend.
Furthermore, there are plans to hold a training seminar led by representatives from the London office of the S&P Global Commodity Insights corporation. The seminar aims to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the methodology for calculating Platts quotes and their practical application in the context of aviation fuel.
Overall, the event will be attended by about 250 companies and major players in the international aviation market, international experts, development institutes, and the scientific community.
The forum program includes a discussion of the requirements for the aviation industry in the framework of the energy transition (Net Zero 2050), key trends in the aviation fuel market and their impact on the transit potential of Central Asia, international standardization of aviation fuel to facilitate imports, and approaches to improving aviation fuel pricing in Central Asia.
The forum is organized by KazMunayGas-Aero LLP with the support of KazMunayGas national company and the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan JSC, the Civil Aviation Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of Kazakhstan, as well as with the assistance of IATA, the Ministry of Energy, Air Astana JSC, Akimat of Astana, International Nursultan Nazarbayev Airport, Almaty International Airport, and Aliya Moldagulova International Airport.
