BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 16. Kazakhstan intends to embrace Netherlands' high-tech agricultural expertise, Trend reports.
This was mentioned during the Kazakh-Dutch roundtable discussion on "Greenhouse Development Opportunities" which took place during the GreenTech Week exhibition in Amsterdam.
It was noted during the roundtable that Kazakhstan's greenhouse sector will receive a new impetus through the adoption of high-tech approaches in greenhouse farming from the Netherlands. The bilateral cooperation, Kazakhstan's investment potential, and state support measures for the agricultural sector were also discussed during the event.
The roundtable brought together the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the Netherlands, Askar Zhumagaliyev, the Vice Minister of Agriculture of Kazakhstan, Abulkhair Tamabek, the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature, and Food Quality of the Netherlands, Jan-Kees Goet, and representatives from both countries business communities.
In addition to the representatives from the agricultural authority, the Kazakh delegation visiting Amsterdam included local entrepreneurs interested in establishing business connections with Dutch horticulturists.
The visit was organized by the Embassy of Kazakhstan in the Netherlands in collaboration with the Kazakh Invest national company.
