. ( IRNA ) - Kazakh Ambassador to Iran Yerik Utembayev here Wednesday called for participation of Iran's private sector in his country's economic activities.
He made the remark in a meeting with Head of Iran's Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Mines Ali-Naqi Khamoushi.
Kazakhstan is sincerely interested in bolstering economic cooperation with Iran, the envoy said.
Lauding Iran's great industrial potentials, he voiced his country's readiness to promote all-out relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Referring to his country's investment to activate its ports, he said such move would pave the way for further expansion of economic ties with Iran.
Khamoushi, for his part, said Iran's Chamber of Commerce, as representative of the private sector, is ready to boost economic cooperation with Kazakhstan.
Iran's private sector has made an appropriate progress with regards to economic regulations, he said adding that producers and businessmen should be encouraged to expand bilateral relations.
