There is no mechanism for amending the agreement. It is valid for five years. If Kyrgyzstan wants to terminate the agreement, it must notify the other party within 180 days period. The American side responded immediately to the parliament's decision to approve a bill on special payments. The U.S. opposed. Kyrgyzstan can not violate the agreement," he said.
He noted that Kyrgyzstan is a member of the Venice Convention. "According to it, all the parties are obliged to unconditional fulfilling the conditions of international agreements," Isakov noted.
