Kyrgyz-Indian military exercises Kanjar-2018 kicks off in India

Kyrgyz-Indian military exercises Kanjar-2018 has started in India, Kabar with reference to the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

"In accordance with the plan for the preparation of the command and control bodies, units and agencies of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Kyrgyzstan for the 2018 academic year, a joint Kyrgyz-Indian exercise of special forces "Kanjar-2018” will be held in India from March 14 to 30, 2018," the report said.

Kyrgyzstan in the exercise is represented by the military contingent of the military unit of the Army of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Within two weeks, Kyrgyz and Indian servicemen will work out the training of special forces for conducting a joint special operation to destroy illegal armed formations in mountainous terrain.

In terms of joint training, practical exercises are planned on tactical, mountain, military-medical, fire training, tactics of actions in storming premises and survival techniques in extreme conditions.

As part of the cultural exercise program, Kyrgyz military personnel will visit the historical attractions of the host country and organize the exposition on the history and culture of Kyrgyzstan for the host country.
