BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, April 1. Kyrgyzstan's President Sadyr Zhaparov has appointed a new plenipotentiary representative in the commission on economic issues at the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) Economic Council, Trend reports.
According to the press service of the Kyrgyz president, Ulukbek Karmyshakov has been appointed by presidential decree, replacing Aigul Ryskulova in the role.
Ulukbek Karmyshakov, aged 61, previously served as the Director of the Center for Standardization and Metrology at the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Kyrgyzstan.
To note, the CIS Economic Council serves as the primary executive body facilitating cooperation among member states of the CIS countries in economic and social spheres, addressing issues of mutual interest.
