Tajikistan’s airline launches flight to Kazan

Tajikistan's Somon Air Airline will launch new flight to Kazan (Russia), CA-NEWS reported referring to the Tajik company's statement.

The regular flight Dushanbe-Kazan-Dushanbe and Khujand-Kazan-Khujand will start on December, 8 of 2011. The flights from Dushanbe will be realized once a week on Thursdays, and from Khujand - on Fridays.

The flights will be realized on Boeing-737 airplane. The cost of the tickets for the flight from Dushanbe and Khujand to Kazan will account to 160+ Euros.

The tickets for the flight from Kazan to Dushanbe will cost 260+ Euros, from Kazan to Khujand - 200+ Euros.

Somon Air is the first private airline in Tajikistan. It has been operating at the aviation service market since February 2008.

Currently the Airline operates its flights from Dushanbe to Germany, United Arabic Emirates, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Ukraine, China, six cities in Russia, Kazakhstan, as well as to Khujand (northern Tajikistan) and from Khujand to eight cities in Russia.

In 2010, the Airline's share at the civil aviation market accounted to 18.6 percent. The Airline transported 268,600 passengers in 2010 compared to 140,300 passengers in 2009.
