Tajikistan notes increase in amount of taxes paid by industrial enterprises

BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 17. The amount of taxes paid by industrial enterprises of Tajikistan increased from January through September 2022, Trend reports citing asiaplustj.info.

During the reporting period, Tajikistan's industrial companies paid taxes of more than 3.6 billion somoni (approx. $352.5 million), which is 828 million somoni ($81 million) more than the corresponding period of 2021.

The value of Tajikistan's industrial production from January through September 2022 reached more than 30 billion somoni ($2.9 billion), which is an increase of 18 percent over the same period in 2021.

Earlier, the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of Tajikistan announced that the country intends to construct and put into operation a total of 870 new industrial enterprises by 2026.

Meanwhile, 2594 industrial enterprises are currently operating throughout the country, including 788 in the Sughd region, 710 in the Khatlon region, and 548 in the capital Dushanbe.
