Business people from the Lebap region of Turkmenistan have increased the volume of milk production, Trend reports with reference to the Turkmen media.
"In the first 9 months of this year, the businessmen produced more than 1,480 tons of milk, which is almost 215 tons more compared to the same period of last year. In September alone, businessmen produced 120 tons of this product.
In the Lebap region, 54 businessmen keep dairy cows. In total, the number of dairy cows on private farms has reached 5,300.
Turkmenistan allocates to livestock breeders the land for growing feed, soft loans for the purchase of livestock. Quite a few private farms have already been formed, where up to a hundred dairy cows are kept.
