BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 4. Turkmenistan has significantly increased the export of tomatoes, Trend reports with reference to the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan.
Since the beginning of 2022, Turkmenistan has exported 78,000 tons of tomatoes abroad, which is 50 percent more than the same period last year.
Furthermore, Turkmenistan significantly increased exports of non-food products such as detergents, furniture and leather during the reporting period.
The State Customs Service of Turkmenistan is currently systematically working to simplify and standardize customs procedures by creating a "Single Window for Export-Import Operations" mechanism. This system provides for electronic registration of export, import and transit of goods.
