BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 17. The total trade volume between Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan reached $156.9 million from January through July 2022, which is 3.7 times an increase from $41.5 million in the same period of 2021, Trend reports citing the statistics data of Azerbaijan’s Customs Committee.
Turkmenistan exported $145.5 million worth of goods to Azerbaijan in the first 7 months of 2022, which is 7.6 times more than the same period of 2021 ($19.1 million).
Turkmenistan’s share in the total volume of Azerbaijan’s imports amounted to 1.94 percent during the reporting period of 2022, compared to 0.30 percent during the same period of 2021.
Turkmenistan’s imports from Azerbaijan amounted to $11.4 million from January through July 2022, a decrease of almost 2 times compared to $22.4 million in the same period of 2021.
Turkmenistan’s share in the total volume of Azerbaijan’s exports amounted to 0.05 percent during the reporting period of 2022, compared to 0.20 percent during the same period of 2021.
