BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 28. The total amount of transactions in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange of Turkmenistan amounted to about $21.25 million last week, Trend reports with reference to the Business Turkmenistan website.
Entrepreneurs from Türkiye, Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan and the UAE purchased diesel fuel, liquefied natural gas and aviation kerosene produced at the enterprises of the Turkmennebit State Concern on exchange.
Representatives of business circles from Türkiye purchased various types of cotton yarn in the amount of 5.5 million Turkmen manats ($1.5 million).
Entrepreneurs from Turkmenistan purchased technical granulated sulfur and petroleum bitumen worth more than 8.4 million Turkmen manats ($2.4 million) in exchange for the domestic market.
A total of 38 transactions were registered at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.
