BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 2. The Turkmen-German economic forum will be held in October this year in Germany, Trend reports with reference to the Turkmen media.
This was announced on May 1 during a workshop on the digital system by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov to President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov in his report on the results of the working visit of the Turkmen delegation to the Federal Republic of Germany on behalf of the Head of State.
Meredov noted that during his working visit to Germany, which took place on April 25 through 28 this year, he held a meeting with the Secretary General of the Eastern Committee of the German Economy, one of the largest economic organizations in the country, where issues of holding a Turkmen–German economic forum in Germany in October this year with the participation of representatives of state organizations and business structures of Turkmenistan were discussed.
Furthermore, during the visit, Rashid Meredov also held talks with the leadership of the German CLAAS group. The German side has shown great interest in the further development of cooperation with Turkmenistan. The parties noted the importance of expanding contacts in the field of innovation, investment, digital technologies and the green economy.
