ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, October 14. During the Turkmen-Mongolian business forum in Ashgabat, key stakeholders from Mongolia's business landscape highlighted the critical need for forging direct partnerships with private enterprises in Turkmenistan, Trend reports via Turkmenistan's Foreign Ministry.

According to the information, the forum was strategically designed to foster synergies in key sectors including trade, economy, healthcare, transportation, logistics, agriculture, and the processing industry.

The event was attended by representatives of ministries and agencies of both countries, as well as business leaders representing the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan. The sides discussed opportunities for expanding bilateral relations, especially in the agro-industrial sector, which is undergoing active modernization and the introduction of innovative technologies.

Furthermore, the forum touched upon the prospects of joint investment projects and exchanged experience. The Mongolian side noted that the favorable legislative base of Turkmenistan contributes to the successful work of foreign partners in the country. Special attention was paid to the development of import-substituting industries and increasing Turkmenistan's export potential.

The participants conveyed a strong sense of optimism that the forum would catalyze a transformative boost in the evolution of Turkmen-Mongolian economic synergies.

To note, the forum was held on the eve of the official visit of Mongolian President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, during which he met with President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. In the wake of the strategic meeting, a series of pivotal documents outlining collaborative synergies between the nations and their respective state entities were executed.
