Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei will lead the Friday prayers congregation on Tehran University campus this week, the official IRNA news agency reported.
The massive turnout of the Iranian nation in the Friday prayers congregation will manifest the solidarity and unity among Iranians from various walks of life, the report said.
The call to participate in the prayers follows the massive rallies of the defeated candidates against the "frauds" in Iran's recent presidential elections and consequent violence, Xinhua reported.
Iran's supreme leader has urged Iran's presidential candidates to stand against violence.
Khamenei cautioned that vandals were seeking violence in the country, and asked all political figures in Iran to take a clear stance against violence, the semi-official Fars news agency reported on Wednesday.
Khamenei has also ordered Iran's Guardian Council, the top legislative body, to investigate the claims of fraud in the recent presidential election, state television IRIB reported on Monday.
Iran's supreme leader, supposedly, has called on both the winner and the defeated candidates to avoid provocative behaviors in favor of Iran's unity, according to local media.
