he Presidents of Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan will meet in the nearest future, Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki said at a press conference after meeting with his Afghan counterpart Zalmai Rasul, FARS news agency reported.
The agreement was reached to develop relations between the two countries, as well as the accession of other countries to this agreement, Mottaki said. "The meeting between the presidents of Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan is likely to be held in Tehran. The Afghan side agreed to hold a meeting in Tehran. We will hold talks with the Tajik side in this regard. The key is the holding of the meeting, which will happen in the nearest future," Mottaki said.
Mottaki said about his participation in an international conference on the situation in Afghanistan, which will be held July 20 in Kabul.
