Iranian cleric urges solidarity against enemies
Senior Iranian cleric Ayatollah Mohammad Emami Kashani has warned of new threats lying in ambush, calling for solidarity among the Iranian nation, Press TV reported.
"Today the country is ... surrounded by the enemies and what is of great significance at this point is solidarity," IRNA quoted Tehran's interim Friday Prayers leader as saying.
"Today the country is need of solidarity," he reiterated attributing the hostilities against Iran to the Islamic Republic's scientific advancements and achievements in the field of nuclear energy technology.
"Thus we need compassion, attention to the guidance of the Leader of the Islamic Republic [Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei], obedience to Imam and unity."
Ayatollah Emami Kashani highlighted the sensitivity of the economic reforms underway in the country and urged cooperation among statesmen and economic experts to help fulfill the plans.
