Iranian Ambassador to Moscow Mahmoud-Reza Sajjadi denied recent media reports about negotiations for the supply of complex "Antey-2500" in Iran, RIA Novosti reported.
Some media quoted the ambassador was reported that Iran and Moscow are negotiating supply of complex "Antey-2500" in the trial of Russia's refusal to supply Iran with S-300.
"We talked with our Russian friends on how to solve the problem (C-300) in court. No concrete proposals about "Antey 2500" to Iran has been given. I refute any other information," - ambassador said to RIA Novosti.
Under a contract signed in 2007, Russia was required to provide Iran with at least five S-300 defense systems.
Russia, however, refused to deliver the systems to Iran under the pretext that they are covered by the fourth round of the UN Security Council (UNSC) resolutions against Iran.
Iran has filed a complaint against Rosoboronexport in the International Court of Arbitration in Geneva.
