Today the workers of 'Zaqros' steelworks located in the city of Qorveh in the Iranian Kurdistan province held a protest, ILNA news agency reported on Jan. 29.
Some 200 steelworkers protested against non-issuance of their salaries in the last seven months, according to the report.
The plant's management also has not paid five-month of insurance premiums of workers. The representatives of the plant's management were invited to the executive authority where they promised that these problems will be settled.
Earlier employees of two other large enterprises, namely 'Iran Tire' a tire factory near the city of Karaj (over 400 employees), and 'Fajr' petrochemical company in the Khuzestan Province (over 150 employees) protested over labor related issues.
