RN-Exploration LLC, a subsidiary of Russia’s oil company Rosneft, will rent an office in Tehran for one year, RIA Novosti agency reported Dec. 28.
The office with an area of 148.61 square meters will be leased to JSC Rosneft from January 10, 2018 to January 10, 2019, according to the report.
Rosneft and National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) signed a “road map” in early November on implementation of strategic projects in oil and gas production in Iran.
Head of the Russian company Igor Sechin said that Rosneft and NIOC may start implementing joint projects in oil and gas production with investments up to $30 billion and oil production up to 55 million tons per year.
