TEHRAN, Iran, August 5. Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs is ready to support the expansion of dates export, said Saeed Kouzehchi, an official in Iran's foreign ministry, Trend reports citing IRNA.
The foreign ministry's representatives and offices are interested to increase the share of Iranian date export in the global markets and enhance the country's non-oil revenues, he said.
"The effort is to solve the obstacles and facilitate the money transactions," he said, referring to the bank-related problems that date exporters are facing.
He pointed out the necessity to support the export companies to improve the quality and packaging of the product and increase export.
