IME saw trading 88,000 tons of oil, petrochemical products

Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) on Sep. 11 witnessed trading of about 88,000 tons of various oil and petrochemical products.

Traders at the IME’s Oil and Petrochemical Products Hall traded 77,992 tons of oil and petrochemical products including polymer and chemical substances, bitumen, sulfur, lube cut and vacuum batum, Shana news agency reported.

According to the report, Delijan Sadaf Gostar Company also offered 200 tons of its insulations at the IME on the same day.

IME’s average trade volume has been estimated to be worth 5-7 percent of Iran’s gross domestic product (GDP) over the past few years.
