Iran to be represented in 2 big exhibitions (exclusive)

In line with the efforts made by Iran to promote its exports following the implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), a number of Iranian companies are expected to display their capabilities during at least two giant international exhibitions over the current year.

More than 100 Iranian entities will participate in an exhibition to be held in Rome, Italy on Nov. 22 to showcase their products, an Iranian deputy minister told Trend on the sidelines of Iran’s ongoing three-day exhibition in Baku, Azerbaijan.

Hossein Esfahbodi, an industry deputy minister who also serves as the head of Iranian Exhibitions Joint Stock Company, added that the government backs domestic producers who attend such exhibitions aimed at increasing the volume of the country’s exports.

Commenting on Iran’s plans to promote its exports, he said numerous companies specialized in a number of spheres, including petrochemicals, food products, industry and more, are slated to attend the upcoming exhibition in Rome.

The deputy minister added that traders from his country will also attend the SIAL France exhibition in mid-October to exhibit the country’s food products.

The world’s largest food innovation exhibition will be held in France Oct. 16-20.
