Iran 's domestic automaker, SAIPA plans to expand production and solve the problems that were caused by US sanctions against the industry, that eventually led to foreign companies leaving the joint cooperation, said the CEO of Saipa Auto Group Javad Soleimani.
"Considering the plans to develop and promote production at SAIPA, the company has increased the production in recent months. It has produced more than 42,000 vehicles in May," Soleimani said, Trend reports citing IRNA.
"SAIPA Group has produced 2,507 vehicles in June, it has achieved the highest record in daily production," Soleimani noted.
"By continuing the current approach, SAIPA's strategy in the current Iranian year (started March 21, 2019) is product diversity. By localizing automotive part industry it can produce various models in near future.", he noted.
