Housing prices rise in Tehran

The average price of housing per square meter in Iran’s Tehran in the third month (May 22-June 21) this Iranian year (started March 21, 2019) has increased by 104.3 percent compared to the same period last year, Trend reports with reference to the report by the Central Bank of Iran.

The report said that the average price of housing per square meter in Tehran in the reporting period reached 133 million rials ($3,166 according to the official exchange rate and $1,031 according to the exchange rate in the black market).

According to statistics, 60,000 properties were sold within one month in Iran. Compared with the same month last year, a decrease of 59.8 percent was observed.

The average cost of housing per square meter in 22 districts of Tehran is as follows:

The price of 1 US dollar according to the official exchange rate in Iran is 42,000 rials and the price of 1 US dollar is 129,000 rials according to the exchange rate in the black market.
