The founding congress of a party of businessman Bidzina Ivanishvili "Georgian dream - democratic Georgia" will be held at the Exhibition Complex Expo Georgia in Tbilisi on Saturday, April 21, spokeswoman for billionaire Maia Panjikidze said.
"The congress will take place in a very business-like atmosphere with all the necessary procedures. More than 1,000 delegates were invited," said Panjikidze.
However, she did not call the candidate for party chairman.
"I can not talk about it in advance, since interest will be lost. I can assure you that the Congress will be very interesting and businesslike," said Panjikidze.
Ivanishvili, who heads an opposition Georgian Dream political coalition, has not yet been able to obtain Georgian citizenship. Under current law, a citizen of another country has no right to participate in elections, create and fund a political party.
