The Georgian National Investment Agency expects more than a billion dollars of direct foreign investments this year, agency director Keti Bochorishvili told reporters on Friday summing up the first quarter of 2012 on direct foreign investments.
She said according to preliminary data, the volume of direct foreign investments during the reporting period amounted to $269 million which is 55 per cent higher than last year.
