Georgia, Tbilisi, May 14 / Trend, N. Kirtskhalia /
Georgia will decide its destiny for itself within the context of its own society, although it is ready to accept help, Prime Minister of Georgia Bidzina Ivanishvili said at a meeting with representatives of the media on Tuesday.
He noted that the previous government was oriented towards the West and the United States, and the opinion of the international community was most important to him.
"We're doing our best to regulate the situation in Georgia, because I want to represent my fledgling country abroad," he said.
The Prime Minister noted that rumors of him not being accepted abroad are 'complete nonsense'.
" I refused to visit Poland, and refused to visit Romania. I postponed my visit to France, and I will visit Germany only after the elections there; the United States is waiting for me today, but I want to appear there only after I do more for my country," he said.
Ivanishvili said that he must first solve Georgia's main problems, and only then will he go abroad.
