Gubaz Sanikidze was appointed Deputy Prime Minister of the Georgian Parliament.
Sanikidze was appointed Deputy Prime Minister of the Georgian Parliament upon the majority quota. His election to this position was supported by 104 MPs.
Earlier, one of the leaders of the Free Democrats party Zurab Abashidze was recalled from the position of Deputy Prime Minister of the Georgian Parliament.
Earlier, Sanikidze served as a chairman of the parliamentary committee on Caucasus issues and relations with the diaspora.
